Nights like tonight I lay awake in bed thinking about my life. I think about the mistakes I have made. I think about the people whose feelings I have hurt. I think about where I am not and where I wanted to be. I think about my direction in this world.
I think about those things and then I remember the things I’ve done right. The times I have made people smile and laugh. I remember where I am and where I never dreamed I would be.
…and then I remember that my life only has one possible direction…
